WINNER - 88th Show and Tell Competition - "Ordinary Objects

Post Tue Jun 24, 2008 2:38 am

.... Extraordinary Images

As usual there were a lot of great images in the round-up making the choice hard.
And, a few made me want to stray from the topic.

Thanks to all for participating.

Honarble Mentions:
J.Y. Gilbert
Books Bind-us

Pete Drummond
one way

Mat Zain Abdullah
Magazines

Third Place
Disartek
Swing Away

Great capture and use of black and white.
I keep coming back thinking: How far did they launch? What's to the left? Brick wall?

Second Place
Terry Bowker
One

In a dark alley on a dark night in a dark city... This is the candy of Guy Noir.
Excellent lighting and setup creating the tones and textures that
make this simple object an extraordinary image.

WINNER: First Place goes to Jeroen Bosmann
Radiation

This is the best use of this effect that I have seen on
a what seems to be the perfect subject for it. A truly
extraordinary image. Your turn Jeroen.

I'm very honoured that my radiation photo came out as the winner! Thanks so much Tom for organising this 88th edition of the S&T competition and selecting my image. It must have been a tough choice as there were so many oustanding photos.

I will post the next competition later today.

Good choice, a lot of good entries this topic.
Next person up needs to correct the code links to past winners.
