Last year my new wife and I were wondering where we wanted to go for our honeymoon. Neither of us are big beach loungers; how boring! We just looked at each other and said, nearly in unison, the Yukon! And what a great trip it was! From the big forests and lakes of Whitehorse to the mountains and tundra of Dawson, it was so beautiful. We went in August, so it was still too light to see the aurora until 1 am or so, by which time we were sleeping or stumbing home from Diamond Tooth Gerties.
And we were unlucky with the wildlife, but it would've taken a more concentrated effort (or luck, I suppose) to photograph moose and bears and as I was reminded, we were on our honeymoon, not a photographic expidition.Here is the gallery: http://www.pbase.com/attack_pug/yukon
