Please help with shopping cart

I posted this in another forum, but have had no replies yet and I'm pulling my hair out. I want to start giving my site address out to possible customers, but can't until I have this bit done.

I think the reason for no replies to my other thread is that I posted it in the wrong forum So I apologise for that.

Can one of you kind souls who knows what you're doing with code, please take a look at my cart code on this image http://www.pbase.com/image/111855293 and see where I'm going wrong? I can't for the life of me figure out how to make it so that Pbase sets all the image names and item numbers automatically for me.

Also once the code is done, where do I paste it exactly? I surely don't have to paste it into every pictures edit page? I daren't upload anymore if that's the case, until I know the right code. It will mean doing the same job over and over

Oh crikey so I DO have to do it for each item? That's just not feasible. If I use the inventory thing will it be easier that way?
