What an excellent capture !! The timing is great ! To see the young not paying attention around them but the parent was aware of the presence of the photographer ! I would have like a larger image but it was enough to apreciate the moment and the story !

This was serendipity for sure!
I was driving through a narrow gorge in the Flinders Ranges and came across this family.
I followed them on foot for 30 minutes or so and as the Gorge narrowed, the whole family hit the road!
Backlighting was the icing on the cake!
