THIRD PLACE
This image by Tom Sherry is a classic scene for many air travelers, wonderfully composed and very nice colors. Well done!


SECOND PLACE
Walter Koenig’s image of this Southwest 737 “Over the Garage” on final in San Diego is a very nice composition. Nice elements here drawing your eye to investigate the closest point of approach between the aircraft and the parking garage. I can tell you it also looks close from the cockpit!


FIRST PLACE
This photograph by Robin Lew evokes the emotional realities of modern commercial air travel today, long lines of aircraft and inclement weather; as well as the anticipation of finally taking the runway for takeoff. I really like the way the trailing edge elements of the wing draw your eye to the markings on the taxiway and the aircraft in line for departure. Congratulations Robin you are the winner!
