213th Show & Tell Competition: CREATIVE SELF-PORTRAIT

In my years of positive growth within the Pbase Community, I have come to admire and respect others' works and artistic individuality. Now, I would love to see YOU this time. Show me your most creative self-portrait, and by this it means no one else took it but yourself. You have to be in it (maybe body parts, half of your face, back view, whatever fancies you). It will be a challenge to your creative self, more so for those who prefer to stay behind the lens and are bashful with self-images. However, this is your turn to shine. We photographers are often left without souvenir shots during travel because we spend our time shooting others before we think of ourselves.

Here are some of my own:

Perhaps this theme is inspired by the best self-portraits I've ever seen from a woman who now has a remarkable posthumous recognition as a photographer after her death (Vivian Maier was a former nanny and rolls of film hidden in her locker were discovered and put up on exhibit). A pbase colleague named madlights shared her website link and it opened a history of pure and raw street photography during her era, yet she was so ahead of her time in more ways than one. Here are a few of her imaginative self-portraits so that you will be inspired with your own. She is truly amazing.
