As you could imagine, this has been a very difficult contest to judge. There were so many images that could have made either the top three or the HM list but I had to choose so here they are:

Now for the top three:

3rd Place

The detail from the foreground all the way back to the cliffs is spot on. The long exposure brings life to this image by giving a sense of motion to the water. Great job Marcel!

2nd Place

Arnie's "Shell at Night". I really like the way the longer exposure creates steam motion in this industrial night landscape.

1st Place

Terry's "Navy Pier Ferris Wheel" captured everything I would want in a long exposure. The motion, lighting and composition brought me back to this image over and over again. Great job Terry!!
