Hello pBasers all.

I too feel fortunate to have won the the 28th competion since there were so many excellent entries.

Here is the Competition #29 topic:

DRAMATIC LIGHTING

Show me compostions where dramatic lighting really makes a strong statement in your submitted photographs. This can include directional lighting from a window or a flash; strong, intense lighting; or even soft or low lighting. I will be particularly looking for originality in response to the theme--So be creative. See my illustrative examples below.

Here is a new request. To help me judge, I would like to view images in the original size. So please, please provide a direct link to the gallery image. Place the link directly below each photo submitted. Again, see the examples below.

In this example just the light from a cell phone can be dramatic.

Here the car tunnel wall lights and a flash combine to produce a dramatic image.

Good luck to all the participants.

Bill Warren

How it Works:
1. The host gives a topic.
2. You post up to 3 of your images that go along with the topic.
3. The host chooses the winner 7 days after the contest was started.
4. The winner becomes the host for the next week. If the winner does not post a new contest within 2 days, the 2nd place winner is the new host.

The Rules:
1. Photos must be hosted on pbase.com.
2. Photos must be embedded in your post. See
http://forum.pbase.com/viewtopic.php?t=18022
3. Post only the medium versions of your picture. Larger versions will not be considered.
4. Only enter 3 photos per-contest.
5. The host is not eligible for their own contest.
6. Any picture you've taken is eligible regardless of time taken and camera
7. You can do all the post processing you want.
8. Have fun.

Here you go
