141st Show & Tell Competition: Teaching

I've been entering the Show & Tell competitions off and on for a while, and I told myself that if I ever won, I would have a theme on teaching and coaching. So having had the good fortune to win, here we are.

I'm looking for anything about teaching and/or coaching. Any kind of teaching is fair game: not just formal education. The teaching can be book learning, or skill learning (like sports or even photography), but the emphasis should be on the teacher.

Here is a sample (not particularly great) to give at least one interpretation:

However, one of the great things about these competitions is when somebody interprets the topic/theme in some way that I would never have considered, so I'm looking forward to that! For those of you who are not familiar with my work, I am a sucker for dramatic light 8)

The automatic contest topic management does not seem to be working, so I will close the competition by making an entry that says it is closed (like Bill did for the 140th competition.

To make it easy for me, please embed the photos in your post (see the rules below) -- if you are having trouble with that, let me know and I'll be happy to help you as much as I can.

Good luck!
Peter Stubley

If I have done the arithmetic correctly, the contest will close Wednesday, December 9th, 2009 at 23:00 UTC (18:00 Eastern Standard).

See the rules below, and good luck to all of you.
Since changing the format of posting new contests and winners, the rules have become MUCH more important. If photos are not embedded in your post, they will not be eligible.

4. Only enter up to 3 photos per-contest.
5. The host is not eligible for their own contest.
6. Any picture you have taken is eligible regardless of time taken and camera.

8. Have fun.

Being taught the Japanese tea ceremony:

I brought the kit home and tried it a few times and never could make the foam the way my instructor did. However it was a special moment, learning in a serene environment far from home, one late afternoon in a small town in Japan. Each of her movements and positions had significance.
